Every year, the Division of Family Affairs at the National Social Appeals Board prepares statistics on the child abduction cases that we receive under the Hague Convention, the European Convention and the Nordic Convention.
Our statistics show the number of cases we receive every year under the three conventions, what areas the applications come from, the number of children and the outcomes of the cases.
Number of new cases
The diagram shows the number of new cases per year of child abduction to Denmark (blue) and from Denmark (red). The figures also appear from the aggregate statistics for 1991-2010.
